The Bible has been revised / rewritten again for the zillonth time. It seems that God's ultimate truth is not complete until a group of humans come a long to decide what God really wants in His revelation and what he does not.
We have already had the Old Testament then the New Testament now we have the Politically Correct Testament. Do Christianity and the Bible have any credibility left whatsoever ? It appears anything they do not like in their religion they just re-write out.
"A rewritten version of the Judeo-Christian Bible was released, last week. It is reported to have been written by a group of 52 German scholars and is "politically correct".
This latest "new" version is said to have excluded "divisive" statements and teachings and is now gay and feminist-friendly. God is no longer referred to as the Father but, is now called "our Mother and Father who are in heaven." Jesus is no longer referred to as the Son of God but, as a "child" of God." The following video is an interview of Hugh Miles author of the book "Al-Jazeera: The Inside Story Of The Arab News Channel Challenging The West." It was recorded in 2005 but many of the issues it deals with are still relevant to this day. Especially so considering the opening of Al-Jazeera International on 15th November 2006 which will be broadcast in English.
Al-Jazeera's talks with Comcast to broadcast its content to the U.S. market has fallen through and viewers in America will not be able to see the start of the channel.
"Al-Jazeera Intl. has all but conceded defeat in its effort to gain U.S. distribution in time for its worldwide launch Wednesday.
Execs at the nascent English-language offshoot of the Arab broadcaster said Comcast Communications pulled the plug on talks Monday on a deal the net considered essential to gaining a beachhead in the U.S". (Source: Variety)
An Anglican Church of England chaplain for the north London Pentonville Prison has been suspended from work after being filmed smoking crack cocaine. He faces the prospect of dismissal and loosing his home which is provided for by the Prison Service.
"A JAIL chaplain was suspended last night after admitting he smokes crack cocaine. Church of England priest Robert Pearson, 54, visits a seedy crack den near Pentonville prison where he is paid to minister to drug-addict criminals.."
"Chain-smoking Pearson, who admitted his habit has made a huge dent in the family finances, now faces the sack as well as losing his prison-owned home."
"Pearson was filmed on a mobile visiting his crack den last week. Asking him about the drug, a woman says: "It's much better 'white' than last night, isn't it father?" He mumbles "Yes it is, I think," before passing on the drug pipe.
In other clips he is seen warming a rock of crack in foil before putting a pipe to his lips and inhaling. His eyes close and his head rolls from side to side.
One drug user at the sessions said: "We bumped into him about two weeks ago at a local dealer's house."We only discovered a few days ago that he's a prison chaplain. It's shocking to think of him smoking crack then going to work in a jail." (Source: Daily Mirror)
In today's post we shall have a look at two very different perspectives on the relationship between the west and Islam. The first video is an interview with John Esposito and the second is an interview with Daniel Pipes.
With the immediate political storm concerning the mid-term elections over in the United States I thought it pertinent to have a look at an issue closely related to the "demise" of the Republicans in the vote.
The issue of the conduct of war in Iraq has been sign-posted by many as the reason for the dramatic loss that the ruling party suffered in the United States. The Defense Secretary has either resigned or been fired depending upon your political persuasion and a new perspective or a set of "fresh eyes" is going to try and resolve the mess that is modern day Iraq.
In this post I wish to look a bit further back than the immediate past to a a person that is considered the God-Father of Neo-Conservatism and is credited with giving the intellectual base in part for the events that we have seen unfold in the Middle East for at least the last few years.
Many of you will never have heard his name or much less a picture of him and even fewer will have read any of his works. However if you are an American you will have felt the hand of his ideas in your body politick and if you are an Iraqi you will have seen the practical applications of his philosophy. The person I am taking about is Leo Strauss. Below is a summary of his biography:
Born 20th September 1899 in the German town of Kirchhain.
Raised in an orthodox Jewish family.
Graduated from the Gymnasium Philippinum near Marburg in 1917.
Served in the German Armyduring World War I from 1917 to 1918.
Awarded a doctorate from the University of Hamburg in 1921.
Awarded Rockerfeller Fellowship in 1932.
Gained employment at the University of Cambridge, England in 1935.
Moved to the United States in 1937.
Research Fellow at the Department of History at Colombia University .
New School for Social Research in New York City in 1938.
Became a naturalised United States citizen in 1944.
Became Professor of Political Science at the University of Chicago in 1949.
Moved to the Claremont Graduate School in 1969
Scott Buchanan Distinguished Scholar in Residence St.Johns College in 1970.
You may be wondering by this point in the post what is the significance of all this. Why is Mr. Strauss such an important person for us in today's world ? The simple answer to that question is one word and that word is students. Mr. Strauss and his students during their teaching careers taught many people who have then went on to hold political office and positions of influence in the United States. I think that it is therefore important to have a look at some the things that Mr.Strauss believed and taught. This is inorder to put the situation in modern day Iraq and America into perspective.
Principle One: Deception
"While professing deep respect for American democracy, Strauss believed that societies should be hierarchical - divided between an elite who should lead, and the masses who should follow. But unlike fellow elitists like Plato, he was less concerned with the moral character of these leaders. According to Shadia Drury, who teaches politics at the University of Calgary, Strauss believed that "those who are fit to rule are those who realize there is no morality and that there is only one natural right - the right of the superior to rule over the inferior."
PrincipleTwo: The Power Of Religion
According to Drury, Strauss had a "huge contempt" for secular democracy. Nazism, he believed, was a nihilistic reaction to the irreligious and liberal nature of the Weimar Republic. Among other neoconservatives, Irving Kristol has long argued for a much greater role for religion in the public sphere, even suggesting that the Founding Fathers of the American Republic made a major mistake by insisting on the separation of church and state. And why ? Because Strauss viewed religion as absolutely essential in order to impose moral law on the masses who otherwise would be out of control. At the same time, he stressed that religion was for the masses alone ; the rulers need not be bound by it. Indeed, it would be absurd if they were, since the truths proclaimed by religion were "a pious fraud."
Principle Three: Aggressive Nationalism
Strauss believed that the inherently aggressive nature of human beings could only be restrained by a powerful nationalistic state. "Because mankind is intrinsically wicked, he has to be governed," he once wrote. "Such governance can only be established, however, when men are united - and they can only be united against other people.
Not surprisingly, Strauss' attitude toward foreign policy was distinctly Machiavellian. "Strauss thinks that a political order can be stable only if it is united by an external threat," Drury wrote in her book. "Following Machiavelli, he maintained that if no external threat exists then one has to be manufactured (emphases added)."
"Perpetual war, not perpetual peace, is what Straussians believe in," says Drury. The idea easily translates into, in her words, an "aggressive, belligerent foreign policy," of the kind that has been advocated by neocon groups like PNAC and AEI scholars - not to mention Wolfowitz and other administration hawks who have called for a world order dominated by U.S. military power. Strauss' neoconservative students see foreign policy as a means to fulfill a "national destiny" - as Irving Kristol defined it already in 1983 - that goes far beyond the narrow confines of a " myopic national security." With the election collapse of the Republican party and the current situation in Iraq not improving drastically for the better in the immediate future. It seems that the neo-Conservative perspective on the world is loosing favour in the U.S. However history has already taught us that the movement was said to be redundant after the fall of the Soviet Union only for them to come back. Who would not bet on them coming back in the future, certainly will not I.
The face veil or the niqab as it known by its Arabic name is already banned on public transport and schools in Holland. Now the country is moving to a complete and total ban:
"The Netherlands may become the first European country to ban Muslim face veils after its government pledged yesterday to outlaw the wearing in public spaces of the niqab, or veil, and the burka, or full-length cloak covering the head.
Rita Verdonk, the immigration minister, signalled that the government would now push for a total ban, even though the legislation would be likely to contravene Dutch religious freedom laws.
"The cabinet finds the wearing of a burka undesirable ... but cannot at present enforce a total ban," the Dutch news agency ANP quoted her as saying after a cabinet meeting." (Source: The Guardian)
Well I suppose it was good while it lasted for the niqab wearing crew in Holland. By the way how many of Holland's 1 million Muslims are estimated to wear the niqab ? 500, 000 no. 250,000 no. 100, 000 no. 25, 000 no. 1,000 no. 500 no. 100 no. 50 yes. That is right 50 women in the whole of the Netherlands are estimated to wear the niqab. Are they really worth all the trouble of legislation ?
As a side point is it not ironic that the Dutch are traveling all round the globe to places like Iraq to teach the locals about freedom and in particular religious freedom while at home they are busy banning the niqab. As someone once said we are all equal but some of us are more equal than others.
In this post I wish to make a couple of announcements regarding this weblog.
The first is that I have enabled Skype here, the contact button can be found in the "About Me" section of the weblog to the left.
For those of you that do not know what Skype is, it is a system that allows people to speak for free from one computer to another computer anywhere in the world. A screen shot of the system is displayed for your benefit to the right here. It allows those of you so inclined to be able to speak to me in person. I only have a few requests if you do decide to call. Please do not use offensive language as I will immediately cut you off. Please do not try to send malicious content down Skype to me. Finally please not do make contact for the purpose of telling me how stupid I am just so you know I already know how stupid I am.
If you do not currently have Skype you can download it for free from here:
The second announcement is regarding the blog carnival of "Islam in the West". This month's carnival is being hosted by the blog "Travellers On The Path Of Knowelgde". I will be hosting the Carnival for the month of December 2006, I hope that you will try to make it a success.
Some would have you believe that Christians had no problem with Islam/Muslims until very recently. Those who put forward this notion wish to paint a rosey picture of Christians and Muslims living lovely lives until the year 2001. For many Christians that was the year that Islam came to the to the west.
For those unaware of history and particularly the history of Orientalism (the study of near east societies, cultures and peoples by western scholars) will be taken in by these latest in a long list of Orientalists. They prey particularly on those ignorant or gullible or naive or paranoid. For one only has to dig a little to realize that most of what these two men and others like them are doing is regurgitating/re-cycling old stories, claims and accusations that have been passed down from generation to generation much like hereditary DNA.
At this point my dear reader I would like to ask you a question if I may ?
Do you know who is the first recorded Christian polemicist against Islam? If you do not know I shall help you by saying that he his pictured to the left and above. His name was John of Damascus and he was born to a Christian father in 676 A.D. He lived at the heart of the Islamic empire in the court of the Caliph. Although being a Christian he was awarded high office under the rule of the Ummayads taking the rank of Chief Councilor of Damascus a role he inherited from his father. Maybe those that keep shouting Dhimmitude to anyone that will listen would like to explain to us how that happened?
Let us now read what St. John had to say about Islam who he characterized as the "Heresy of the Ishmaelites" in his book entitled "Concerning Heresy":
There is also the people-deceiving cult (threskeia) of the Ishmaelites, the forerunner of the Antichrist, which prevails until now. It derives from Ishmael, who was born to Abraham from Hagar, wherefore they are called Hagarenes and Ishmaelites. And they call them Saracens, inasmuch as they were [sent away] empty-handed by Sarah (ek tes Sarras kenous); for it was said to the angel by Hagar: "Sarah has sent me away empty-handed" (cf. Genesis xxi. 10, 14).
These, then, were idolaters and worshippers of the morning star and Aphrodite whom in fact they called Akbar (Chabar) in their own language, which means "great". So until the times of Heraclius they were plain idolaters. From that time till now a true prophet appeared among them, surnamed Muhammad (Mamed), who, having happened upon the Old and the New Testament and apparently having conversed, in like manner, with an Arian monk, put together his own heresy. And after ingratiating himself with the people by a pretence of piety, he spread rumours of a scripture (graphe) brought down to him from heaven. So, having drafted some ludicrous doctrines in his book, he handed over to them this form of worship (to sebas). (Source:Wikipedia)
As can be seen Christianity's "disdain" for Islam did not start in 2001 or with Pope Benedict XVI 's speech it is much more rooted in the very fabric of the religion, its culture and its followers. A fabric that most in the west do not want to admit exists and one that must be refuted.
Buses are being stoned in a town near Jerusalem by orthodox Jewish residents. The cause of the "protests" seems to be lack of segregation between the sexes on the buses and the fact that drivers have radios switched on.
"Dozens of ultra-Orthodox men hurled stones Sunday evening at Egged buses in the town of Beit Shemesh, near Jerusalem, protesting the fact that the buses were "not kosher" (did not separate between men and women).
One driver was lightly injured, while another driver was forced to fire shots in the air in order to get away from the rioters."
"Dozens of ultra-Orthodox men blocked the road for bus traffic. A bus and an Egged supervision vehicle who tried to drive through the crowd were stoned with stones and eggs. One of the vehicles suffered damage."
"The protest in Beit Shemesh is part of an ongoing battle between residents of the Menuha Venahala neighborhood and the Egged bus company. Many of the residents living in the neighborhood are affiliated with extreme factions in the ultra-Orthodox public, and have demanded to operate "kosher" lines in the area.
About two weeks ago, Egged began operating such a line at the neighborhood, but it failed to meet the strict modesty demands of certain elements in the neighborhood.
In the "kosher" lines, men sit in the front and women in the back. The women get on the bus from the back door and the bus driver is not allowed to put on the radio. " (Source: Ynetnews.com)
Do you think that western leaders such as the Pope, politicians, journalists and media commentators will be writing speeches and making statements full of condemnation, fire and brimstone in relation to incidents like the one mentioned in this post? If I were you I would not hold your breath that "special privilege" is only reserved for Muslims and Islam.
This is vintage Mr. Rumsfeld at his best and why we just love him. Its one of those explanations that just states the obvious. It is simple and "confusing" all at once. It is a testament to a truly great political mind.
A Scottish Fire Service leaflet has had to be withdrawn because of a "donkey" problem.
The leaflet was produced in the Urdu language rather than telling the reader to escape a burning house by lowering oneself onto a cushion the word used in the leaflet was the Urdu for donkey.
"The advice was that anyone leaving a burning building from a window should lower themselves on to cushions.
However, the authors got the Urdu word for cushion mixed up with another very similar Urdu word for donkey." (Source: BBC)
Why should the Scottish Fire Service be producing leaflets in Urdu? If you cannot read English you will probably try to get out of a burning house on a donkey anyway.
There is a more serious point to this which is if you are going to live in any country other than the place where your fore-fathers came from then you must learn the language of the land. There should be no comprise on that. If whatever reason you cannot whether it be lack of intelligence or laziness then you should think about finding somewhere new to live.
While most of the civilised world's attention was taken up by the American elections children were being killed in their sleep in Gaza. Before I continue to explain why I am writing this post let me say the following:
I am against all killing. Violence should never be used as a way of solving any problem.
I was not going to write about this story until I cam across a post from one of my blog-roll members.
The post is entitled "Sh*t happens" and is taken from IsraPundit. The weblog concerns itself with issues realting to Israel and hence the name. Anyway I shall now reproduce for you here the sentiments of the weblog's authour Mr. Ted Belman and some of the comments that his readers thought useful regarding the incident in Beit Hanoun:
"No excuse can justify this atrocity. When artillery batteries aim their shells near a residential neighborhood, such a disaster is inevitable, even if it is unintentional.
I say to all of them
* Sh1t happens
* Go F-k yourself
* Play with fire, expect to get burnt." (Source: IsraPundit)
While a commentator to Mr. Belman's weblog had to say this about the incident:
"I'm with you on this, Ted. Having been in two wars, I know friendly fire has injured or killed many; however, in my opinion, regarding Israels mistake, I find no reason to apoligize. If artillery fired at any ten houses at random in Gaza, at least 8 of those houses contain terrorist. A mistake is only that, where as Rockets fired by Hizbollah into civilian neighborhoods was on purpose. The same for rockets on Sderot. Screw the French and the rest of Israel's enemys. Let's kill all of them, then we may opoligize." (Ed D)
With sentiments such as these is there any hope for the future ?
The United States mid term elections are over. The House of Representatives has fallen under the control of the Democrats while the eventual party winner of the Senate remains to be seen.
One of those already elected to the American Congress is Keith Ellison as a representative from Minnesota. The remarkable thing about this politician is the fact that he is a "Muslim". He denotes the "coming of age" of Muslims in the American political scene.
I thought as a matter of interest that I would pay The Huffington Post weblog a visit and see the reaction to his victory. The Huffington Post and its article contributors support the Democratic Party however comments are placed on the weblog from people of all political opinions .
Below are some of the thoughts that fellow Americans have for Keith Ellison:
"Just goes to show you libs need all the help they can get, now they love rag heads." (Freeway)
"Oh good, break out the burkas." (ComicSquid)
"Yeah this is the inclusion that liberals want us to swallow....the biggest threat we have in the world is from Islamic facists. So how smart is it to have a Muslim in congress really? But this is "the big tent" they have built...isn't it wonderful? The next phase will have illegal aliens be allowed to vote and then of course actually hold offices...like DUALL PATRICK-AKIS says.."Yes we can!" (Beatle)
"Yeah a melting pot....just wait till you wake up one day when this country is melted...and we have prayer towers on every bolck blasting Arabic at 100 decibles" (Beatle)
"Fan-f**k**g-tastic. Now the muslim Amerihaters have a foothold in US politics. You lib sh**bags have gone way too far. May you reap what you sow.
THE NATION OF ISLAM WILL CONVERT YOU OR KILL YOU." (Source: The Huffington Post)
It finally appears that Mr. Rumsfeld has been shown the door and the way out of the Pentagon.
How I really used to like the way he explained things. The evening news broadcast will be a duller place now that he has gone. Sometimes I wish that politics was not such a cut-throat business.
"Donald H. Rumsfeld is stepping down as defense secretary"
"Rumsfeld, President Bush's sole defense secretary in six years of leadership, is the first administration casualty after a midterm congressional election that sent at least 28 House Republicans packing and left the future of the Senate in limbo.
Bush called Rumsfeld a trusted friend and patriot who had served his country well." (Source: Fox News)
Any notions of a shared monotheistic heritage as an answer should be dispelled from the mind of the reader forthwith. In fact the answer is homosexuality, well opposition to homosexuality to be more precise. In today's post we shall have a look at two stories from two different parts of the world.
The first story is from Scotland where a Muslim candidate is standing for election to the Scottish Parliament as a member of a hardline Christian party. The Christian Peoples Alliance Scotland is campaigning on a very open anti-gay ticket. So far the party has collected 3000 signatures from Muslims on a petition that will refuse homosexuals the right to adopt in Scotland. The party also opposes the prospect of primary children being taught about homosexual sex in schools.
"A HARDLINE Christian party which is campaigning against new rights for homosexuals has won significant support from Scotland's Muslim community in its bid to win a seat at next year's Holyrood elections.
The Christian Peoples' Alliance Scotland, which will field candidates at next year's vote, has gathered 1,000 signatures from Muslims in a petition opposing new laws that will allow gay couples to adopt. "
"The party is to campaign against any plans to allow homosexual sex to be taught in primary schools. "
"Founded by former Labour activist Teresa Smith, the 'pro-family', 'pro-life'' party has been backed by a Catholic bishop." (Source: Scotland On Sunday)
The second story come from the Holy Land where both Jews and Muslims are united against a proposed gay pride march through Jerusalem to be held on 10 November 2006. Passions are running so high that Jews have been rioting in the streets of the city and a bomb has been defused with an attached message that read "sodomites out".
Taysir Tamimi is the head of the Palestinian Supreme Council Of Shariah Litigation and is spear heading Muslim opposition to the proposed march. He is quoted as saying :
"This march tries to destroy the moral and spiritual values for youths,"
"All religions discredit gays because it is against the decent human nature created by God."
While Yaakov Cohen a member of the Knesset( Israeli Parliament) for the United Torah Judaism Party is quoted to have said :
"This isn't the gay pride parade but the disgrace parade,"
Mean while Ben Yizri a member of the Knesset for the Shas Party had this to say about the march and G-d's verdict:
"We believe God will be very upset" (Source: Daily Telegraph)
I doubt that this current convergence of interests represents a new dawn in inter-religious co-operation having said that I think it certainly shows that members of these three faith communities can work together when they want to. The question remains will they have the same determination to do this when the specter of gay issues are removed ?
It seems that freedom of expression is not a concept that we Muslims have been able to learn. Muslims do not allow the questioning or discussing or insulting of the religion of Islam or its founder. One only has to look at the reaction by Muslims both in the West and the Muslim world to cartoons published by the Danish paper Jyllands-Posten. The cartoons depicted the Prophet of Islam in different guises that Muslims found offensive, insulting and hurtful. The cry in unison at the time from all sections of western society whether they be conservative or liberal or religious or secular was the same:
"Muslims should shut up and stop complaining."
In free societies such as those in the west an individual or group has the right to insult or offend anyone they see fit. This is after all is the very notion of a free and democratic society.
As the simpleton that I am, I took these pronouncements at face value, accepted them and thought to myself what a savage unreasonable lot we Muslims really are. So you can imagine my surprise when I came across the following story from Italy. It concerns an impending court case over the Italian national anthem and a toilet at an Italian museum.
"A toilet which flushes to the sound of Italy's national anthem has been impounded by police in northern Italy, sparking great patriotic debate.
The offending loo was the creation of two artists and was on display at the Bolzano Museum of Modern Art.
Prosecutors say the Fratelli d'Italia anthem is a national emblem which should be protected and should never be open to ridicule. A judgement is expected to be made later this week." (Source:BBC)
With the toilet impounded by the police and awaiting the court verdict the prosecution says that it will put forward a robust case:
"The prosecution on the other hand argue the symbolism of playing the anthem while flushing a toilet is an offence to the nation."
It's funny how the stick of "freedom of expression" is only useful when trying to beat Muslims over the head with. Otherwise in the case of the Italian national anthem it is just flushed down the toilet.
The following video documentary is presented by British theologian Robert Beckford. The video is broken into three segments. The first and second parts examine some of the historical context surrounding the Bible and a look at the possible authors of both the "Old Testament" and "New Testament". The final segment looks at the Bible and the current political situation surrounding Trinitarian Evangelical Christians in the United States.
The documentary will provide nothing new for a person with rudimentary knowledge of its topic. Having said that the video is an eye opener for those of the general public who are not Bible scholars.
In essence the video will not change the views of those that believe that the Bible is the literal word of God however for the reset of us "lost souls" it will open a door to a subject which for centuries has been forbidden for the general public to explore. A subject so explosive that organized Trinitarian Christianity has killed anyone that dare to divulge its secrets.
Its all a distant memory now but this summers foiled plot to bring down trans-Atlantic flights flying out of the United Kingdom started a debate concerning profiling and Muslim passengers. Recently Britain has relaxed the rules concerning the carrying of liquids onto flights however restrictions have not returned to pre-summer levels.
In the debate that raged after the revelations became public one very loud call came from the many sections of western society, namely the need for racial/religious profiling of Muslim travelers. The theory behind the call was that the global air traffic network is the target of a small segment of Muslims who wish to attack innocents. Therefore the only logical and safe response for authorities and fellow passengers is to view all Muslim passengers as potential terrorists.
There now seems a be a "related" story from British Airways. It appears that the airline as part of its policy forbids children from sitting next to non-relative males on a flight. The reasoning behind the policy seems to be a fear of the males committing indecent acts upon the children.
"British Airways has been accused of treating all men passengers as potential sex offenders after it was revealed it has banned children from sitting next to male strangers - even if their parents are on the same flight." (Source: Daily Mail)
In response to the claims a British Airways spokesperson had the following to say:
"As a responsible airline with a duty of care to our customers, it is our policy to ensure that, where possible, we do not seat unaccompanied minors next to adult males."
"The policy is there as a precaution in the best interests of the welfare of young children flying alone." (Source: Daily Mail)
I am sure that most men will be very offended at the inference that they may be potential sex offenders but I think that this policy is correct and should be supported by the public. If we can cause "discomfort" to Muslims using public transport because of a terrorist threat then we can surely cause males some amount of discomfort because most sex offenders are males.
Policies like these help the general public to realize what it feels like when one is suspected of a crime that one has not committed and should be applauded and supported.
If I was given a dime for every time I heard that or read it I am sure I would be a millionaire by now. Is there any truth in the statement? Putting it quiet simply and plainly NO.
This statement and those like it are used by those who wish to peddle in the propaganda of fear and hate. People who would like you to believe that the Islamic Caliphate is coming to your local community tomorrow morning at 11.37 am precisely. This fearful notion and the associated acts of beheadings, sex slavery and general "dhimmitude" are all infused into the mind of the unsuspecting by the seasoned propagandist to good effect.
The reality of the world is a little different. Muslims whether radical or not are not going to be over taking the world tomorrow morning at 11.37 am. There are those that wish to kill in the name of Islam but they are being fought tooth and nail both by non-Muslim countries like the U.S. and Great Britain but also by Muslim countries like Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Libya to name just a few.
Hence the question remains why would anyone want to perpetuate an urban myth that Muslims do not condemn violence in the name of Islam ? To gain a definite answer the best people to ask are those peddling in this type hate and generalization, for my part I can only hypothesize. It might be because they hate Islam full spot whether Muslims kill or not. The west has a historical enmity towards Islam and one that secularism and modern democratic values have not been able to eradicate. Therefore once when Islam was condemn as being evil because it was not Jewish or
